Yesterday, Good Friday Y and I took the tram all the way down to the end of Istiklal Cadessi and wandered further down to reach the 61 meter Galata Tower. The top gave us a 360 view of 7 -hilled Istanbul and the old City of Sultanahmet. It was freezing up there and Y took tons of photos. Today a cruise liner docked on our side,Beyoglu, greeted us in the morning. Am posting photos of the Greek Orthodox Church, a great resto beside it called Haci Baba (Ali Baba) and the apt. May stay in today as am exhausted from yesterday's perigrinations.
