Here are more photos of the Harem (above). After the Harem the next visit was to the Imperial Treasury which showcased the gems of the sultans. These were invariably the size of pigeons'eggs and mind-boggling. Unfortunately no photo-taking was allowed in this gallery so I have none to post. We shall have to return to Topkapi to see the Hall of Relics and the collection of Chinese porcelain, the biggest outside China. There is so much to see at the Topkapi complex one needs to make several visits.
