After two successive days of visiting monuments Y and I decided to do something different. Today we made a visit to the Grand Bizzare, I mean Bazaar ( just quoting Ric Stevens', a fantastic author of guidebook entitled ISTANBUL. I was awed by the jewelry and everything else there was to buy. The lanes were wider than I thought. Came back with a minature painting already framed. As usual, it was sensory overload and we couldn't walk for more than two hours before we took a break at a cafe within the bazaar. As usual it was just too big and there was so much to see that we have vowed to go back.
